Maddy & Bryce - 2021

Sometimes life sends you in some unexpected directions. That's what happened with us, anyway, over the past few years. We moved, we got new jobs, we had a baby, we survived a pandemic ... And while we took many photographs during all of that, we didn't do as much wedding photography as we'd been doing back in our Detroit days. 

But then Maddy got married. It was so wonderful to be back in the field again, taking photos of a bright-eyed, loving couple. We worried we'd be rusty, but everything just clicked. Note that we hiked for the wedding portraits. It isn't every couple who's willing to tromp more than a mile for photos at a waterfall, but this one was game, so we couldn't resist.
